In round 7, we will make puff stitches.
To make a puff stitch, you need to yarn over, insert the hook in the st, and pull the yarn (you will have 3 loops on the hook).
Yarn over, insert the hook in the st, and pull the yarn (you will have 5 loops on the hook).
Yarn over, insert the hook in the st, and pull the yarn (you will have 7 loops on the hook).
Yarn over, insert the hook in the st, and pull the yarn (you will have 9 loops on the hook).
Pull the yarn through all 9 loops together.
Ch 2, skip the st.
Puff 1, ch 1.
Repeat * puff 1, ch 1, till you reach the corner (point of the star).
To make a corner, puff 1 in the hole, ch 2, puff 1 in the same hole.
Repeat this pattern throughout this Round.
Sl st in the 1st st (skip the initial chain stitches and insert the hook after 1st puff).

Repeat till you reach the hole (point of the star) and puff 1 in the hole, ch 1, puff in the same hole, ch 1.
Puff 1, ch 1 repeat till you reach the hole, repeat.
Sl in the 1st st.
Round 14
Sc around the star in each stitch.
Cut the yarn, leaving at least 30 inches to use for sewing the edges later.
As we need two sides of the star, repeat the same instructions to crochet another side.
Sewing the Star Pillow
Place the two pieces of the star together.
Decide which part will be the front of your project.
Place the front sides of the stars facing each other.
Sew the edges, stitch by stitch, using the needle and extra yarn.
Do not sew till the end. Stop when you have one point of the star left.
Turn the project inside out and stuff it.
Use your hands to adjust the polyfill and distribute it evenly.
Finish the sewing and close the opening of the star.
