By this point, the radius of your circle should reach 5.5 inches. Measure the bottom of your
flower pot. In case you have a bigger pot, continue to crochet until you reach the desired size.
If you decide to continue, follow these instructions – make one row of increase (2 stitches in the same stitch) followed by three rows of regular stitches.
Round 11
Ch 5, skip 4 stitches and sc in the 5th, ch 5 skip 4 stitches and sc in the 5th. Repeat this pattern till the end of the round.
You will make 12 5-chain sets.
Round 12
Ch 5, sc into the 5-chain loop, repeat this pattern till the end of the round.
Round 13
Ch 5, sc into the 5-chain loop, repeat this pattern till the end of the round.
Round 14
Sc 4 in each 5-chain loop.
Cut the yarn, tie the knot several times and secure the yarn.
The crochet holder might seem small, but remember that we are crocheting a plant hanger, so it will stretch when you hang it. Remember to place your pot in it and measure how far
it will stretch.
In our case, the pot was 4 inches high, and making three rounds of the 5-chain sets
was enough. If you have a higher pot, make 5-chain set rounds until you reach the
desired length.
When you reach your desired length, move to the next step. We need four sets of straps
to hang the pot.
Straps
Chain 100, make two straps.
Attach the straps to the project by making double knots in 4 places.
