Ch4, sl in the st st.
Round 1
Ch 3 (counts as first hdc), 15 hdc in the circle, slip st to the third ch of the initial chain. (16 hdc)
Round 2
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 15 dc in the circle, slip st to third ch of first dc. (16 dc)
Round 3
Slip st in next ch-1 space, ch 1, sc in same space. *ch 2, sc in next ch-1 space.
Repeat this pattern all around until you reach the end of the round and make 16th sc, ch 1, sc in first sc to make the last ch-2 space. (16 sc, 16 ch-2 spaces)
Round 4
Ch 1, sc in next space.
*ch 3, sc in next hole of ch-2 space, continue this pattern around until you reach the end of the round, dc in first sc to make last ch-3 space. (16 sc, 16 ch-3 spaces)
Round 5
Ch 1.
3 dc column clusters in the hole of the ch3 space.
'ch 5, dc 3 clusters in the hole of the ch-3 space, repeat *this pattern till the end of this round when you make the 16th 3 dc cluster column ch 5 and dc 1 in the 1st 3 dc cluster stitch.
You will have 16 clusters and 16 5-chain loops. Sl in the 1st st.
Round 6
Ch 3.
Hdc 1 in the hole of ch-5 space, ch 2, hdc 1 in the same hole of 5 chain space.
Repeat ch 2, hdc 1, ch 1, hdc 1 in the same hole.
32 chain 2 spaces and 32 hdcs.
Round 7
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 3 dc in same space, slip st in next ch-3 space, [6 dc in next ch-3 space, slip st in next ch-3 space] around, till the end of the round.
When you reach the last chain space loop, dc 3 in the hole and sl in the next st.
Round 8
Chain 3 and make a picot stitch. For this, insert the hook in the back thread at the beginning of the chain and sl st, sc 3, sl 1.
'sc 3, picot with 3 chains, sc 3, sl 1 (picots will fit in the middle of the 6 dc’s and sl in the sl
stitch of the previous round).
When you make the last sl st, sc 3 and sl in the 1st picot st.
Cut off the yarn and weave loose ends.
Round 9
Turn the project to its wrong side facing up. FPsc (insert the hook around the st below the
picot, pull the yarn and make a sc).
Find the stitch in the below round of the picot stitch. Insert the hook in the stitch below the
picot stitch and ch 1. Fsc in the same st, ch 5 and sc in the same st, FPsc 6.
'sc in the st below the picot st, ch 5, sc in the same st, FPsc 6.
Repeat this till the end of the round.
Sl in the 5 ch.
Round 10
Turn the project to the right side.
Ch 3, dc 6 in the same st.
'ch 3, dc 7 in the same hole (in the center of the next ch-5 loop).
Repeat until the end of the round.
When you make the last ch 3, sl in the 3rd ch of the initial chain.
Round 11
We need to make FPdcs in this round.
Ch 1, sc in the same st.
To make a first FPdc, follow the instructions.
FPdc - Yo, insert hook around the post of the next dc, yo and pull up a loop (3 loops on the
hook), pull through 2 loops, and pull through the last 2 loops on the hook.
Sc 1 in the next st, ch 1, sc 1, ch 1, sc 1, ch 1, sc, FPdc, ch 1 in the ch-3 loop.
'FPdc, sc 1 in the next st, ch 1, sc 1, ch 1, sc 1, ch 1, sc, FPdc, ch 1 in the ch-3 loop.
Repeat ' this pattern till the end of the round.
Sl in the 1st st.
Round 12
Ch 3 (counts as first dc).
FPdc around next FPdc, sc in next ch-1 space, *ch 1, sc in next ch-1 space and repeat * 3
times (you will make 4 scs), FPdc around next FPdc.
'dc in next sc, FPdc around next FPdc, sc in next ch-1 space, [ch 1, sc in the next ch-1
space] 3 times, FPdc around next FPdc, repeat * these instructions around, slip st to third ch of first dc.
Round 13
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), FPdc twice around next FPdc, sc in next ch-1 space, [ch 1, sc in
next ch-1 space] twice, FPdc twice around next FPdc.
'dc in next dc, FPdc twice around next FPdc, sc in next ch-1 space, [ch 1, sc in next ch-1 space] twice, FPdc twice around next FPdc.
Repeat * these instructions around, slip st to the third ch of the 1st dc.
Round 14
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), FPdc 1 around next FPdc, FPdc 2 around next FPdc, sc in next
ch-1 space, ch 1, sc in next ch-1 space, (2 sc stitches) FPdc twice around next FPdc, FPdc
around next FPdc.
'dc in next dc, FPdc around next FPdc, FPdc twice around next FPdc, sc in next ch-1 space, ch 1, sc in next ch-1 space, FPdc twice around next FPdc, FPdc around next FPdc, * dc in next dc.
Repeat * these instructions around, slip st to the third ch of the first dc.

Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 2 dc in same st, ch 1, FPdc around each of next 3 FPdc, sc in next

Ch 4 (counts as the first dc), sc in the next hole and make a cluster of 2 dcs, ch 1, make 2
dc cluster in the next hole, ch 1, 2d c cluster in the next hole, ch 1, 2 dc cluster in the next
hole, ch 1 (4 clusters in total), ch 1, FPdc decrease using next 2 sts, FPdc decrease using
next 2 sts, (two decreases) ch 1.
'2 dc cluster in the next hole, ch 1, 2 dc cluster in the next hole, ch 1, 2 dc cluster in the
next hole, ch 1, 2 dc cluster in the next hole, ch 1, FPdc decrease using next 2 sts, FPdcdecrease using next 2 sts, (two decreases) ch 1.

Round 18
Ch 2.
Hdc 2 in the hole loop, hdc 2 in the next loop. Hdc 2 in the next loop, hdc 2 in the next
loop, hdc 2 in the next loop, FPdc decrease of two FPdc stitches.
Continue this pattern till the end of this round.
Round 19
Turn the project to the wrong side, ch 1.
'sc 3, make a picot with 3 ch.
Repeat these * instructions till the end of this round.
Cut the yarn and weave the ends.
Round 20
Keep the project on the wrong side. Insert the yarn in any st from the hdc cluster round and FPsc in each until the end of the round.
We made 175 FPsc.
Round 20
Turn the project to the right side.
Ch 3, it will count as the 1st dc, dc 6 in the same st, ch 5, skip 5 sts and sl in the 6th st, ch 5, skip 5 st, dc 7 in the 6th st.
'ch 5, skip 5 sts and sl in the 6th st, ch 5, skip 5 st, dc 7 in the 6th st till the end of the round.
When you make the final dcs of the round, ch 5, skip 3 and insert sl in the 4th st, ch 5 and sl in the 1st st of this round.
Round 21
Ch 3.

To make a BPdc – yarn over, insert a hook from behind, pull the yarn behind the stitches, pull through two, pull through two.
